THIS IS THE MOST COMMONLY USED SYSTEM FOR DIRECT AND SINGLE ACCESS TO EACH PALLET, IT IS A COST EFFECTIVE STORAGE SYSTEM WHICH PROVIDES DIRECT ACCESS TO ALL PALLETS.
This solution is ideal for warehouses who deal with palletized products and a wide variety of SKUs. This system ensures the need for equipment is minimal and low capital costs. The aisle measurement between each rack and the rack height depends upon the warehouse facility and the lifting devices being used. Pallet sizes and height of the warehouse are important factors to determine the details. Pallet racks can be adjustable and constructed single or back to back.

NARROW AISLE PALLET RACKING SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED TO MEET THE NEW GENERATION OF WAREHOUSES UP TO 15 METERS HIGH, DESIGNED AROUND THE OPERATING TOLERANCES OF VERY NARROW AISLE (VNA) EQUIPMENT WITH AISLES MARGINALLY WIDER THAN THE LOAD. Such structures must have a high level of rigidity and accurate manufacturing tolerance. Warehouse capacity can be increase substantially over normal pallet racking by increasing operational height and the reduction of operation aisle.
MULTI-TIER PALLET RACKING PROVIDES WALKWAYS WHICH ARE BUILT INTO THE PALLET RACKING STRUCTURE, CREATING MANUAL PICK LANES AT VARIOUS LEVELS. This type of structure offers an improved utilization of space than a traditional mezzanine floor arrangement. This type of pallet racking structure creates a number of levels and walkways for storing and collecting goods. Combining wooden, mesh or steel shelves the solution offers an increased number of picking levels.
THIS SYSTEM IS BASED ON THE STORAGE BY ACCUMULATION PRINCIPLE, WHICH ENABLES THE HIGHEST USE OF AVAILABLE SPACE IN TERMS OF BOTH AREA AND HEIGHT. DRIVE-IN PALLET RACKING PROVIDE MAXIMUM STORAGE CAPACITY USING THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF SPACE. It is particularly suited to store very large quantities of homogeneous products. Loading and unloading is undertaken by means of counter balance or reach trucks that drive down each lane into the racks. Two management systems are available: the drive-in system, with only one access aisle, and the drive-through system, with access to the load from both sides of the rack.
Drive-In racking operates on the system of First-In Last-Out (FILO), therefore it only suits products that is stored in sufficient volume to require multiples lanes to ensure stock rotation.
THE PALLET SHUTTLE SYSTEM OFFERED BY US IS A SEMI-AUTOMATED STORAGE SOLUTION FOR THE HANDLING OF GOODS INSIDE CHANNELS SIMILAR TO A DRIVE-IN SETUP. THE PALLET SHUTTLE SYSTEM REMOVES THE NEED FOR FORKLIFT TRUCKS TO ENTER THE AISLES AND HENCE OFFERS A COST EFFECTIVE AND TIME SAVING STORAGE SOLUTION. All handling of the goods within the channels is carried out using the Pallet Shuttle which is remotely controlled by the user. Handling of the pallets outside of the rack is conducted using standard forklift trucks. This therefore removes the need for a forklift truck to access the storage channel. The pallets are placed on a Pallet Shuttle (a battery powered pallet cart) which carries the pallets into the rack.
